Terms, Conditions & Warranty
General
As our collections are made to order, the invoice needs to be paid in full in order to start production. Orders will not be placed until a quote has been approved and the invoice has been paid (unless other terms have been previously agreed upon) Kjartan Oskarsson Studio (now KOS) reserves NEITHER right to cancel orders, to change prices, and to change product types being sold, without notice.
Product delivery
As our lamps are hand-made to order, lead times are between 6 to 12 weeks depending on the product. All prices are excluding shipping costs. Shipping for all lamps is shipped from Reykjavik Iceland. Kjartan Oskarsson Studio is not responsible for damage during delivery
Cancellation right/right to return and refund
Please note that products that are made to order can not be exchanged or returned. Products on stock can be canceled or exchanged before shipping.

Taxes and fees
All prices on the website are excluding VAT. Invoices for export are issued without VAT, EXCEPT for the USA.
Confidentiality
The seller holds all information from the buyer in relation to the purchase as confidential. Under no circumstances will information be handed to a third party.
Warranty
Kjartan Oskarsson Studio (KOS) will warrant products purchased only by the original purchaser from an authorized reseller or distributor or from "KOS" directly. "KOS" warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for two years after the date of purchase. "KOS" reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the damaged product, and all costs of shipping for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. In order to recover under this limited warranty, the purchaser must make claim to "KOS" within 10 business days of occurrence. "KOS", at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty. To keep this limited warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used as prescribed. This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
Damages
All damage claims must be made in writing within 5 business days of receipt of goods. If damage has occurred in shipping, all packaging must be retained by the receiver. Failure to do so may invalidate any claim.
